In July, our players trained at the DFB-Campus in Frankfurt, on pitches that are otherwise reserved for Germany’s national teams. In the afternoon, more than 50 scouts from across Germany came to watch them at our scouting day. It became one of the most successful days of our entire July program.
The morning: training where the national team trains
The day began with a session at the DFB-Campus, the home of the German Football Association in Frankfurt. It was led by our coaches Tobias Nubbemeyer, Armin Alexander and Marcel Titsch-Rivero, and its purpose was simple: to get every player sharp for the afternoon.
For almost every player in the group, it was the best facility they had ever trained at. From the dressing rooms to the pitch to the session itself, everything was at the level of professional football. That changes how players carry themselves. You train differently when you know where you are standing.
Who led the session
The morning was not run by camp instructors. It was run by people who know exactly what scouts look for, because they have worked on the other side of the table:
- Tobias Nubbemeyer, our head coach. UEFA A licence, with coaching roles at TSG Hoffenheim, RB Leipzig and the Philadelphia Union Academy.
- Armin Alexander, youth Bundesliga director at SV Wehen Wiesbaden and FSV Frankfurt, and a former player of 1. FC Köln.
- Marcel Titsch-Rivero, former professional at Eintracht Frankfurt and 1. FC Heidenheim, and founder of the Eleven Future Academy.
That matters on a day like this. A good session before a scouting day is not about volume. It is about sharpness, confidence and making sure every player knows what the people watching will pay attention to.
The afternoon: 50 scouts, one purpose
In the afternoon came our scouting day. More than 50 scouts from clubs across Germany came for one reason: to watch international players. Not as a side event, but as the very reason they were there.
That is the difference between being in Germany and being seen in Germany. A player can train for weeks at a good facility and still go home unnoticed. The scouting day puts players in front of the people who actually decide.
The right place prepares you. The right people in front of you change your career.
The numbers
From the players who took part that day:
- 20 players found an official club and are now settling into life and football in Germany.
- 5 of them signed with a professional club.
Behind each of these numbers is a player, a family and a decision to take football seriously. We are proud of every one of them.
What happens next
For those 20 players, the real work starts now: a new club, a new language, a new rhythm. We keep accompanying them through that phase, because a signature is a beginning, not an end.
And we are already looking ahead to 2027. If you want to be part of the next July program, this is exactly what our International Soccer Program is built for.
